For many, the notion of sound healing or any type of sound therapy may, at one time seemed a bit “out there”, “woo-woo”, hippie doo-da-day. Even our Special Guest Eileen McKusick internationally recognized thought leader in the fields of therapeutic sound and the human biofield would have thought the same thing over a decade ago!

But as fate may have it, Eileen discovered something interesting while working part-time as a massage therapist, when she started incorporating tuning forks for healing into her massage therapy practice.
I (the author of this post) have heard this from many other long-standing massage therapists, and that is, the body starts to speak to the therapist and they “know” what its trying to tell them!
For Eileen, she noticed that the tuning forks behaved or responded to her in a particular way. Upon further observation, she started to discern vibrational frequencies and sounds that were coming from the body of her clients. The sounds or feelings were presenting themselves in a consistent manner, that she was inspired to map out.
Not only was she able to map out the different types of buried or stuck emotions, but she was also able to work on those buried or stuck emotions with sound healing and sound therapy practices using a tuning fork for healing, now known as her invention, the Biofield Tuning Fork.
Her sound healing methodologies, sound healing frequencies she’s “fine-tuned” and sound therapies have been so effective for her, her family, her pets and clients, that she has become an internationally recognized thought leader in the fields of therapeutic sound healing and the human biofield.
She is the originator of Biofield Tuning (also known as “sound balancing”) a unique therapeutic method utilizing Biofield tuning forks; founder of the Biofield Tuning Institute; and the author of the best-selling Nautilus Award-winning book Tuning the Human Biofield: Healing with Vibrational Sound Therapy.

Where to Now with Her Sound Healing & Sound Therapy?
Now that Eileen has had years of hands on practice, developed her own Biofield Tuning Forks and done extensive research into therapeutic sound healing, she spends much of her time now with her Biofield Tuning Institute for Sound Health.
