Hello! I’m Jordan Wavra! I’m a wife, mom, and business owner. I am a former elementary school teacher turned business owner whose passion for teaching shines through in my coaching practice. I believe in the power that a holistic lifestyle & positive mindset has on the connection between the mind, body, and soul after holistic nutrition cured years of chronic stomach pain and fatigue. My goal is to help motivated & mindful women regain their energy, decrease stress, and discover true health through a holistic approach to health, nutrition, and life.
What is Pranic Healing?
Pranic healing is a form of no-touch energy founded by spiritual teacher Grandmaster Choa Kok Sui. In this form of energy healing, the energy body, or aura, is cleansed and energized. This cleansing allows prana, or energy, to flow through the mind/body system freely without obstruction and can be increased in areas of the physical body where it is depleted. Prana is described in the Vedic tradition as the body’s healing energy. By allowing prana to move freely, self-healing mechanisms are activated.
How Does a Pranic Healing Session Work?
A typical first session starts with a short interview to learn the reason for the visit, and any prior experience with energy healing work.
The healer then “scans” or feels the aura and chakras for areas of congestion or depletion. Areas of energetic congestion are cleaned with sweeping motions of the hands above the body. After sweeping, areas of depletion are energized. Depending on the scanning findings, the healer may use similar techniques of sweeping and energizing to address emotional and spiritual energy imbalances. At the end of the session, healers “stabilize” or insulate the changes in the energy body.
An average pranic healing or energy healing session may last up to 60 minutes, but typically lasts around 45 minutes. Clients may or may not “feel something” during the session, but most clients say they feel “lighter” and more relaxed. Clients will be given some suggestions to help allow the changes in the energy body to take place. How long the healing lasts after the session depends on the receptivity of the client and the skill of the healer. I usually schedule 3 visits and at the end of the third visit, we decide together what next steps to take.
Pranic healing is meant to complement, rather than replace, usual medical care. It is important that you have an identified primary healthcare practitioner, in addition to receiving pranic healing, for illness or other ailments.
