How Conversations with God, the Book by Neal Donald Walsch “Came” to Me
This week’s episode of “Your Weekly Dose of Higher Consciousness” is what I promised you after last week’s episode about the true story of a quantum spiritual awakening I experienced.
This episode leads you up to the story about a nervous breakdown, being admitted to the emergency room, then transferred to a mental hospital, and how the whole thing played out…leading to how Conversations with God, the book by Neale Donald Walsh “came” into my experience for the rescue.
Sometimes, levels of unworthiness can be running within you that suggest you are unworthy even of GOD.
When this is the case, sometimes “GOD” needs to step in and let you know it’s presence.
Listen in as I share the true story of how “Conversations with God”, the book by Neale Donald Walsch “came” to me.
I share my experience with all 3 books of Conversations with God and my feelings about all of them. (below)
I also share the consciousness calibrations of the book to put it all into context! (below). This calibration is significant in a “good” way.

Consciousness Calibrations of the Book Conversations with God
According to recent consciousness calibrations, the book “Conversations with God” by Neale Donald Walsch calibrates at 397 on the Map of Consciousness® (MOC). This is the consciousness calibration of the content of the book, Conversations with God, not the author.
397 on the MOC is significant as it “holds” a significant amount of “TRUTH” and POWER.
According to consciousness calibrations, and Dr. David Hawkins book Power vs Force and Truth Vs Falsehood, a consciousness level of 350 and above is needed to “solve a problem”. This is what’s known on the MOC as the level of acceptance. I did an entire episode on this level of consciousness here.
It’s no wonder this book has sold millions of copies and has been translated into 30+ languages all over the world. IT’S HUGE!
Let’s put this into context…. anything above 200 on the MOC is of higher consciousness. It is positive aspect-oriented, constructive, and upward pulling.
Anything above 274 on the MOC is of “Higher Mind”, meaning (presumably) it is no longer subject to the downward pulling energy fields of 200 and below, known as the lower levels of consciousness.
What is significant about this level of consciousness (for me) is that this level of consciousness embodies these other ways of being or levels of consciousness:
- Playful – 375
- Wise – 385
- Happy – 395, and
- the Concept of Santa Clause – 390 (my personal life’s goal as to my own level of consciousness).
Important to note— only 15% of the world and 50% of the United States calibrates at 200 or above. The higher the level of consciousness, the lower and lower that percentage gets. As an example, only 4/10ths of 1% of the planet ever reaches 540 on the MOC.
The MOC is quantum and logarithmic in nature. 200 on the MOC is 10 to the 200th power. 540 on the MOC is 10 to the 540th power.
Conversations with God Book Review
I provide a different kind of book review in that I am letting you know how incredibly healing the book and trilogy of books, (Conversations Book 1, Book 2 and Book 3) was for me during the aftermath of a quantum spiritual awakening, that led up to a quantum spiritual emergency and trip to a mental hospital.
I “felt” (clairsentience) the words “Conversations with God” come to me and “knew” (claircognizance) I had to find this (whatever) it was.
I must have intuitively known it was a book because I went to Barnes & Noble and found the book there.
I didn’t “hear” it via clairaudient means.
I didn’t “see” it via clairvoyant means.
I think I read Conversations with God Book 1 a minimum of 12 times over the course of a year or more (as I recall). It was the only remedy at the time that I was willing to accept. And it was the only immediate relief from panic attacks that started to come over me. (I had never had a panic attack before)
One of the reasons I felt this healing connection to the book is because I recognized the “presence of God” speaking to me through the book. I recognized this “presence” as it was the same I stunningly beautiful, Divine, and loving presence I “felt” during the highs or higher consciousness of the quantum spiritual awakening.
I “knew” at the time that what may have looked like a mental breakdown or “episode” was more of a spiritual one. There was no “pill” or traditional mental health therapist that was going to help me at the time. The “presence” in the book understood what I had been asking for and understood what I had gone through.
I sought spiritual healers and intuitive mediums, people that could communicate with the spirit world to help understand what I created in my life. Some of them were helpful. Some of them not so much, but I think each step in the process of meeting different types of alternative healers, moved me along in one way or another.
I am not sure when I invested in Book 2 and Book 3, but it must have been within that 1st year of recovery because Book 1 was so significantly healing and helpful to me.
In Conversations with God Book 2, Neale Donald Walsch and God continue their discussion and move on to larger topics than the personal issues addressed in Conversations with God 1. The pair discusses time, space, politics, and even kinky sex. It is an honest look at some of the broad issues important to all of us on the planet.
Interestingly for me at the time was the fact that I had an aversion to Book 2. And it’s not to disparage (or not recommend ) Book 2. I highly recommend all 3 books as they put life into greater and greater context and understanding. I think it had to do with the fact that I had been devastated and annihilated on every front and wanted nothing to do with this world we live in. I must have wanted to blame our world for this experience and devastation.
What really resonated with me was book 3.
In Conversations with God Book 3, the final book of the original three-book series, “universal truths of the highest order, and the challenges and opportunities of the soul.” In this volume, the dialogue expands to include more about the nature of God, about love and fear, about who we are and who we may become. Here is also a profound dialogue about the culture, philosophy, and spirituality of highly evolved beings (some of whom we presently call “aliens” or “ETs”) in other realms of the universe and how they have learned to view life, love and the pursuit of happiness.
Book 3 felt like “home” to me.
And it reminded me of an experience I had while walking to work one day probably at least 6 years earlier.
I was not an “airy-fairy” type of individual. I was reasonably grounded and pragmatic.
I never really contemplated life beyond the earth.
But on this day I was walking over the BU Bridge (Boston University), on my way to work in the Back Bay of Boston. I love watching the crew teams in their skulls going up and down the Charles River.
On this particular day, I was listening to the radio my Sony Walkman.
A song came on the radio I had never heard before by a band I had never heard before.
The song was Drops of Jupiter, by Train.
The lyrics go like this:
With drops of Jupiter in her hair, hey, hey
She acts like summer and walks like rain
Reminds me that there’s a-time to change, hey, hey
Since the return of her stay on the moon
She listens like spring and she talks like June, hey, hey
Did you sail across the sun?
Did you make it to the Milky Way
To see the lights all faded?
And that Heaven is overrated?
Did you fall from a shooting star
One without a permanent scar?
And did you miss me while you were
Looking for yourself out there?
Tracing her way through the constellation, hey, hey
She checks out Mozart while she does Tae-Bo
Reminds me that there’s a-room to grow, hey, hey, yeah
