This week’s episode of Your Weekly Dose of Higher Consciousness asks the question: “What is Truth?” and “how to tell the truth from falsehood?” In this episode, I read some passages from Dr. David R. Hawkins’ book Truth vs Falsehood found in Chapter 3 Truth as Enigma: The Challenge and the Struggle. I also discuss where to discover significant levels of truth in consciousness and ways to align with higher consciousness.
So, what is the truth?
Well, let’s start with the understanding that consciousness is vast. So vast it’s beyond the linear mind to comprehend and grasp. And prior to the consciousness research done throughout the lifetime of Dr. David R. Hawkins, there were no verifiable means for how, to tell the truth.
Humanity had to rely on the mind and the ability to discern truth from falsehood.
Unfortunately, most of humanity and the planet throughout history calibrated below 200 on the Map of Consciousness®. 200 is the critical level of consciousness that is required to enter into the field of positive aspect-oriented, constructive, and supportive consciousness. There is no ability to tell what is the truth vs what is not the truth on a consistent, reliable basis.
Lower levels of consciousness are impersonal attractor-fields for which “there is not enough *gas in the tank” (or energy) to recognize or even care to recognize how, to tell the truth.
The upside is that 50% of the United States and most evolved countries calibrate above 200. So the ability to tell the truth and discern truth vs falsehood is present in some and helps to offset the negativity of the lower levels so that we as a planet can evolve into higher levels of truth.
So what’s interesting is that as you go up the Map of Consciousness® there are greater truths to be understood and embodied. It’s significant to not only understand where higher consciousness truly resides, but embody the energy field of those “impersonal attractor fields” of consciousness.
I observe myself, as I am a student of consciousness and am willing to accept that I am the creator of my own experience, and notice when I shift into the embodiment of an energy field that I care to shift into. It’s quite interesting when you “feel” the difference”. It’s quite an interesting study in consciousness when you observe yourself “feel” the difference as well.
Every level of higher consciousness “embodies” certain truths, that are understandable to the individual at that level of consciousness. (Click here for the episode about the higher levels of consciousness)
As an example, the levels of consciousness in the 200’s are the embodiment of the level of consciousness of courage. Ways of being in the 200s include “Can do” attitudes, and a sense of our own inner power, strength, and self-worth.
As opposed to the level of consciousness of peace in the 600s (which is rare on this planet). According to Dr. Hawkins’s book Letting Go the Pathway to Surrender the 600s is the gateway to enlightenment and “…the hallmark of this level is desirelessness. There is no need to want for anything as everything in our life manifests spontaneously and automatically, without conscious will or effort.”
This level embodies a very high level of consciousness and truth.
So what is truth?
It depends on your level of consciousness and your ability to perceive.
What lens are you looking through to discern the truth?
Is it the lens of:
Each one of these higher levels of consciousness is able to discern what is the truth (to an extent) and cares about how, to tell the truth versus needing to be right about something and willing to be open to a greater understanding.
When your perception is distorted by lower consciousness you can’t discern how, to tell the truth, because you are too caught up in lower levels of consciousness and impersonal attractor fields, that by their nature (no judgment here), distort the truth.
Lower levels of consciousness that distort the truth and bring you down include these feelings and energy fields:
- righteous pride & demanding scorn (175 ↓),
- vengeful anger and hatred (150 ↓),
- disappointing enslavement ( 125 ↓),
- frightening punitive fear (100 ↓),
- grief, despondency, and regret ( 75 ↓),
- hopeless apathetic despair ( 50 ↓),
- destructive guilt and blame (30↓), and
- shameful humiliation (20 ↓)
So you gotta’ get honest with yourself!
Are you feeling any of the lower levels of consciousness while trying to discern the truth about anything?
If so, the truth you seek is distorted. And when the truth is distorted, it feeds the lower levels of consciousness or the “Juice” of wanting to be right, angry, vengeful, apathetic, whatever.
If you care about how, to tell the truth about anything, you have to let go of the lower levels of consciousness within you. You also have to be willing to accept that the lower levels of consciousness, however, justified they may seem to you, distort the truth of anything.
